These fabulous vintage buttons each tell a story. The buttons are from 1890 -1925, the red iridescent glass button is was used a the top fastener on a coat and meant to be noticed. The Victorian Star is set with Hematite and seed pearls. Next, we have the intaglio dog, made in the 1920’s and a fancy cloak button formed of old die struck parts follows. This button features a small Czech Opal cabochon. The next is the Dove Button, where the doves are reversed under a glass dome, a technique of the early 1900’s. And finishing off this exquisite linked button bracelet is a lovely Art Nouveau maiden on a ground of translucent blue enamel. Need I say more??
